During this 2nd edition of this initiative “School kits for all !!!” (Kits scolaires pour tous !!!) The Foundation distributed:
560 school kits and 26 teachers manuals are planned for distribution in the coming weeks.
We also distributed 140 schoolbags to Djédouabo and still have 100 to distribute.
*Private schools refer to non-state funded schools and include community and denominational schools.
The school kit project for the Municipality of Daoukro carried out on Monday October 2017 could not have taken place without the financial support of generous donnors. In perfect adequation with one of the main pillars of the Foundation (Education) it made the releif of over a hundred families and more than 900 students from 1st to 5th grade in 6 schools possible.
The Fondation d’Augustin donnated school kits to children of underpriviladged families. These kits included school equipment and books, as well as bags for certain classes. Occasionaliy, chalk was also donated
During the commemoration of International Women's Day on Wednesday March 08, 2018, La Fondation d’Augustin donated 57 books and a desktop computer to the library of Sainte-Thérèse de l’Enfant Jésus Training Center. This center, dedicated to the literacy of young girls and their training in sewing, pastry and hairdressing, is located in Port-Bouët, in the suburb of Abidjan.
These books and this computer, donated by Editions Eburnie, will be used for cultural enrichment and the learning of computer tools for the young girls of the center and as well as the inhabitants of the district for which the library of the center is open.
During the 2nd edition of the project "Les Cantines du Coeur" initiated by the NGO Ivoire DD, on March 21st 2018, La Fondation d’Augustin donated 1428 meals to the Gonzagueville Academic Group.
Aiming to diversify the supply sources of public school canteens throughout the Côte d’Ivoire, which in reality only benefit from 18 days of meals offered by the National Education for 120 days of school per year; the NGO Ivoire DD annually launches a fundraising operation for individuals, associations and private sector companies, called "Les Cantines du Coeur".

As part of their program to “fight and present young children malnutrition” La Fondation d’Augustin donated on February 2018, 160 kg of infant formula and 19.8 kg of skimmed milk in the therapeutic nutritional unit of the Pietro Bonilli Health Center in Odienné, for a follow-up of activities for children with HIV infected mothers.
Alongside the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene support and through its Department of Public Hygiene and Health-Environment, the Academic Group benefited from hygiene awareness sessions on May 4th, 2018
This project, entirely funded by the Fondation d’Augustin in Djedouabo thanks to a generous contributor consisted in the construction of a new 3 class building, an office for the principle, a storage room and some lavatories to replace the old structures the students used to use. Procedures are currently ongoing to raise the necessary funds to build a new 3 class building in order to complete the school

This wonderfull project is a first un the region of the Iffou, and unites education and health, the two fundamental pillars of the Foundation, and could not have been carried out without the funding of generous donnors.
For this 2nd edition of our "Christmas for all" action, La Fondation d’Augustin distributed 221 toys to the primary school of Dangou a village located 15 km on the M’Bahiakro track ; 150 toys at Djédouabo’s primary shcool, 500 toys in Agni-Assikasso village, Benanou, Lekikro and Allokro; 42 toys at Dimbokro health center; 41 toys at Treichville University Affiliated Hospital, 86 toys at Youpogon University Affiliated Hospital, 300 toys to orphaned or destitute children identified by the Ministry of Solidarity, Family, Women and Children; 104 toys will be distributed in the coming weeks to Korhogo and Yamoussokro Health Centers and Bouaké University Affiliated Hospital. In total, the Foundation will have distributed around 1,700 Christmas gifts this year.
The village of Djédouabo has no electricity and no running water. In order to support the teachers and establish a night-time literacy program, the Foundation reached out to ZECI (Zola EDF Cote d’Ivoire), which resulted in the donation of two solar kits (kits consisted of lamps for night-time literacy) and contributed to two other kits purchased by the Foundation (kits consisted of lamps, a television, fans, and telephone chargers for teachers’ accommodation).
