This was part of an announcement made by Kandia Camara, Ivorian Minister of Education, Technical Education and Vocational Training, during the 2017-2018 academic meeting.
This follows the approval of the 2016-2025 ten-year sector-wide plan, which opens up funding prospects for the whole sector. As recalled by the Minister, "it is on this basis that Côte d'Ivoire will benefit from a new grant from the Global Partnership for Education, which will be used for the funding of a new project focused on preschool and primary education that will take over from the Emergency Basic Education Support Project (PUAEB) ended on August 30th, 2017".
