In relation with the Global Partnership for Education, the Ministry of Education held a workshop to present the results of the 2nd Grade pupils’ reading and mathematics skills Assessment conducted in 2016 in the western and northern regions of the country. The objective of the workshop, included in Step 2 of the Emergency Basic Education Support Project (PUAEB), is to share experts' proposals for an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses identified in second grade classes. Participants made recommendations and action proposals that will be submitted to the competent authorities.
